Enjoying a sunny afternoon on your porch overlooking the ocean and listening to the waves pounding the coast is one of great life pleasures. You can make it even better by adding a coastal swing bed  to your porch. Coastal swing beds’ design is  inspired by coastal and seaside magic, elegant or rustic, traditional or modern. The quality of wood they are made of makes a big difference in their durability because of harsh coastal winds and salty air. You can choose a coastal swing bed made of kiln dried pine, weather-resistant cedar, beautiful teak or   durable cypress. Hardwoods like cedar and cypress look great with one of many lovely stains  that allow the wood grain to shine through. Pine is better protected by a coat of paint in one of hundreds of trendy colors. Coastal swing beds can be hung on two or four points, on rope or chains. Galvanized hardware is important in the harsh coastal climate. If you love sleeping under the stars, choose a queen-size bed for total comfort. They also come in crib, twin or full size. Adding a plush mattress and plenty of pillows would greatly add to your comfort. Some coastal swing beds require a bit of assembly. If you are not comfortable with it, choose  those which come fully assembled.
