4 Foot Swings

Two person or 4 foot swings are just the perfect size for any porch and the most popular swing size available. You can use them alone, with a pile of soft, plush cushions, or you can share them with the love of your life, a friend, a parent or your kid. Four foot swings are also a great fit in the garden. There is no place more tranquil than in the hand planted setting of a garden. But if you aren't fortunate enough to have a garden steps out your back door with a sturdy A-frame stand, or hanging from a large, strong tree on a couple of chains, you can place your new outdoor swing in your favorite spot. Look for a nice shady place, where you can have a nap on a lazy summer afternoon, or by the rose bush, where the smell will inspire you to dream and fantasize. If you plan to leave your swing permanently outdoors, look for one made of strong, weatherproof wood like red cedar or cypress. If you stain the wood with an all weather outdoor stain and maintain the hardware regularly, your swing will give you many years of pure pleasure.
