Outdoor Gliders

Porch gliders are probably the most comfortable piece of outdoor furniture you can put on your porch. Smooth gliding motion is so soothing that many people use gliders for afternoon naps. They come in a range of material options, from wrought iron, to wicker, wood and recycled plastic. Porch gliders can be single, good enough for a private gliding and a bit of privacy, or can be large enough for two, to snuggle together, or just have a chat. Whatever the material they are made of, porch gliders can come in any color you desire, from simple white or black, to pastels or crazy vivid hues. While they look like porch benches, gliders require a little more care and maintenance. If your glider is made of weather-resistant hard wood or very durable recycled plastic, you do not have to worry about the seat, but have to keep careful care of the moving parts. Regular cleaning and a bit of oil from time to time will keep your porch glider in perfect condition and it will give you many years of smooth gliding.
