Recycled Plastic Garden Benches | The Porch Swing Company

Start with how you want to use your outdoor bench: a pause along a garden path, a seat near the front door or a gathering spot facing the yard. Measure the intended location and consider the bench’s full footprint, including its arms and back, rather than seat length alone. Leave room for doors, nearby furniture and the routes people use through the space. For relaxed conversations or listening to a porch concert, consider the direction the seat will face and whether you prefer a supportive back. Product photos and listed dimensions can help you picture the bench in its surroundings before choosing. Material details deserve a closer look alongside appearance. Names such as poly lumber and poly composite can help describe a product, but the material listing is the better place to confirm recycled-plastic construction. Review the descriptions of hardware and supporting components, too, rather than assuming every part uses the same material. If easy upkeep is a priority, compare the manufacturer’s care guidance instead of treating low-maintenance as maintenance-free. A recycled plastic garden bench should suit both the look of your outdoor space and the attention you want to give it, so weigh construction, cleaning requirements and design together.
