Standard 8 Foot Ceiling Calculations - 2 Point Hanging
-Recommend 17 foot of rope per side. This allows the swing to hang at 16-20 inches off the ground.
-This calculation is based on 36 inches used for the Overhand Loop Knot at Ceiling.
-This calculation is based on 24 inches (2 knotsx12 inches each) used for Overhand Knot at Swing.
*Please note these calculations are based on the knot sizes above. Any variation will impact how far the swing hangs from the ground.
*Add 2 foot of rope for each additional foot of ceiling height. IE for a 9 foot ceiling order 19 foot of rope per side.
