Beautifully built swinging bed

Great experience working with The PorchSwing Company. I needed to delay the shipment a week as I was out of town. They worked with me and shipped ontime once I was ready. Swinging bed came in 4 boxes, so no issues with getting them into the garage and onto the deck where I could build the swinging bed. Fit and finish were excellent and all components were well packaged and available. A lot of pre-measuring for the install had been completed prior so it was easy to single-handedly, build and connect to the pergola above (4 point swing).

The foundations of downtime.

I have assembled the bed and I am awaiting the cushions in order to have the full experience of bed swing. The assembly instructions were good, but I did experience several alignments of the predrilled holes for the arms and the base. It was fixable on my part because of my ability to drill and correct the misalignment. The ordering and the shipping were easy and the within the promise claims for the items. My only desire, which the company has no control over, is too slow down, lay down, so as to relax. That is where the porch, furniture, the comfortable cushions are not even thought of, but the true value of the expense is realized. Thank you for offering pieces that share in the idea of downtime.

No Instructions

The product was sent without instructions on how to assemble the swing and I am unable to find any instructions online. I have also called the number for support and no one is available. This will be the last time I purchase anything from this company.

Best front porch purchase

We are in love with our Waterford Twin so Sway bed. It is hung on a 4 point rope hang. The quality is top notch. The swing is so comfortable & looks amazing. Our porch is so welcoming & inviting. I love to decorate seasonally with pillows on the swing. Splurge purchase on our new construction home. 100% satisfied. Best looking porch on the block!!

Happy with purchase

Got here quick. Pricey. Very minor scuff due to shipping box hole but touched up with included touch up paint. Nice touch! Instructions are good, just take your time and pay attention to the 2 wood screws on the back bs all other carriage bolts. I’m an accomplished DIY guy and the biggest challenge was to get the swing level. The difficulty was the the large nylon rope bottom knot might slip 1/2” and it might slip 2” or anywhere in between. I had to lift, support and adjust bottom knots about 20 times total to get it just right. This is not a product or design issue, just the deal with the large nylon ropes. I also went up into attic and ******* an additional 2x6 into the existing 2x6 for added lateral support and more width for hanger bolts. Also bought the cushions here. $$$$ Sweetie loves it.

I’m in love!

My husband and I put the swing together (whaaat??? Not something we willingly do, bwahaha) The instructions were easy to follow. We opted to have it professionally installed because we use it at our Funeral Home-which is also our home. It will get a lot of use and in the week it’s been up we’ve enjoyed the swing so much and it might have been used for a nap or two ;) The feedback from the families we serve has been very positive! I’ve been looking for the perfect bed swing for over 2 years and I’m so happy we found The PorchSwing Company! We love the walnut stain and the black rope is beautiful with it! I’m so glad we also purchased the hardware and the cup holders. Bonus-we got the swing on sale!!
