These are not only attractive, but so comfortable that cushions really aren't needed. We purchased two, one with the optional cup holders, and installed one cup holder on each chair. I don't think most folks have two drinks at once. :-)

I'm short and fat. Sitting is not always comfortable because most people are at least a few inches taller than me and not near as far. This chair is so perfect, I think I'm going to order one for my bedroom as my reading chair. I love sitting on my front porch, even in the jeart/ It fits me so good and craftsmanship is perfection. It's better priced than a lot of store models and it is made so much better!
