Rustic and cool

Glides smooth. Very nice and substantial. Easily assembled in less than 30 minutes.

Came damaged, resolved rather quickly

I received the package at the earlier end of the delivery range provided when I ordered. However, when it arrived the bench seat screws had been overtightened to the point where the would had fractured, splintered and even split in multiple places. I contacted PorchSwing Company and they forwarded my concerns to the Amish craftsmen. They in turn called me next day, sent FedEx to retrieve the broken piece, then overnighted a replacement seat the day after the old one was picked up. The replacement came in flawless shape (and even had nicer live edges when compared to the original...so it was a bit of an upgrade for my trouble). The swing was rather easy to install (a couple of steps could be misinterpreted which caused me to have to break the bench down and start over once or twice, but that was more on me than anything else). There was one issue with construction, in that the back bottom portion of the arm rests are too low to the ground and when you glide, they drag. I installed some foam furniture stoppers on the bottom to lift the back of the seat and that seemed to solve it. All-in-all, aside from receiving a flawed piece and the issue with the bottom of the arm rest dragging, its truly a beautiful conversation piece and with the pillow I added from the PorchSwing Company, its extremely comfortable as well.
