Just make sure that all moving parts that are made of metal are regularly oiled and cleaned. The cushions and pillows on your glider should have weather-resistant covers so that they do not get moldy if they get wet from a sudden rain. Add a small table in front of your glider to put a plate of cookies, a book or a cocktail, and your 5 foot glider will make your porch or patio into a real outdoor room.
