I debated about leaving a review but here it goes. The swing is beautiful, the costumer service people were really nice, the quality control is lacking. We ordered the six foot one - it was expensive (at least in my book) but it was what I wanted. When we opened box the front board was cracked - it looked like the screws had been over tightened- contacted costumer service they said it had probably been dropped in shipment - okay, plausible. They sent new stained board - were supposed to send new screws and drill bit - they didn’t make it in the box, luckily we had a drill bit to fit and were able to back out the screws without stripping them and reuse them. Got the seat and back together and trying to put arms on and there was nothing for them to hold to - they had forgotten to put the metal screw anchors in to hold the screws. Called costumer service back, once again they were very nice and they sent out the screw anchors so that we could install them. Costumer service even said “boy, you’ve had some issues with this.” My point is when you pay that much for a porch swing it really shouldn’t have any issues and if it does perhaps a token refund would be nice. Even an offer of $20 would have nice.

It’s sturdy. I do think the adjust bf ropes could have been easier or come with better instructions. Took a lot of trial and error to get it even on all three planes.
