The swing required assembly out of the box, but it was a one-man job that took 30 minutes. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Craftsmanship was excellent considering what you can find in today's world. Swing is sturdy and the fold out console is a surprisingly great addition.

Overall, my wife loves her new porch swing. It installed easily enough after I located the structure above to hang it from. My only complaint is on the slide down cup holder tray. The folks in manufacturing didn’t pre-drill the holes for the screws, or used the wrong sized screws, running them in so deeply that it split the wood cup holder. Then instead of replacing the piece, they backed out the screws and left them out some so the splits weren’t visible at first…. I was a little disappointed since paying good money for the swing. I glued the parts back together, and re-sanded the piece, then put different screws in. If it splits out again I’ll have to replace the board itself. Not a big deal since I’m a carpenter by trade. Just the principle of it is more upsetting than the damage. But overall- we are very happy with it.

Love this porch swing. It is exactly what I wanted. It was easy to put together but you have to have a "square" head screw driver or drill bit to put it together. I've only had it about a week so I don't know how well it will hold up outside. I'm glad I chose this one and would recommend it.

Overall, we are happy with it. I bought this for my girlfriend that wanted someplace for us to relax with a beverage and enjoy the summer. Assembly was easy, all of the necessary hardware was included. The only thing that I added was additional flat washers for where the support chains connect to the bolts. I'm not 100% sure these were needed but I just thought it would be best.

The swing is up on our new pergola & looks great. Did not know it would come in pieces but that worked out. We coated it with wood preservative & urethane. Also changed out the bolts for stainless steel.
