Wrought Iron Gliders
Wrought iron gliders are reminiscent of old gardens and walls covered with flowering wines. They look great on cobbled or stone paved patios, surrounded with a lush garden. They are also very popular for windy patios or gardens, where strong wind tends to fling garden furniture around. Heavy, solid wrought iron gliders are not that easy to move even when you want to. While many are still designed in the traditional, highly decorated form, there are many models that are more modern, so there is something for any taste. Wrought iron of your glider should be powder coated to ensure the protection from rust and smooth finish that is pleasant to handle. Wrought iron gliders are easy to clean with a garden hose, but make sure that moving parts are regularly oiled, for protection and to avoid squeaking. A nice, plush glider seat cushion and a few smaller pillows would not only add to the comfort of your glider, but would also introduce a touch of color.
