Painted gliders are fun. They allow you to buy nicely designed glider made of cheaper wood. Once painted, your glider can take any persona you like. You can make it elegant by painting it black or dark blue, or crisp and clean by painting it white. And then you can go crazy and give your glider your own personality by painting it purple, pink or orange. Another great thing about painted gliders is that they can be repainted when you get tired of a particular hue, or when the fashion changes. Painted gliders are protected from the elements by several layers of paint, and can be left on the porch after the season is over and it is too cold to enjoy soothing gliding motion of your glider. You still might enjoy it in the winter, with a warm blanket and a hot cocoa, to watch the snow falling or kids making a snowman. You can also move your painted glider indoors during the winter and put it in the sun room or just about anywhere in the house.
